Based in Kent we offer commercial businesses across the region the very best in palletised distribution as well as supplying a high quality logistical solution to all customer delivery needs.

Established in 1987 by Malcolm James and Malcolm Bell, who between them had spent decades working in transport with a variety of blue chip companies, MLI was aimed at delivering the kind of customer focused services other transport and haulage companies seemed unable to get right.

By 2005 both Malcolms had retired and handed over the company to two of their professional managers, Dave Green and Phil Norman who have maintained the reputable name of MLI Services Ltd and continue to strive for excellence in services at competitive prices UK wide.

We originally specialised in transporting automotive components when the just-in-time system had failed, demanding a 24/7 rapid response operation that kept us really busy! As demand has moved on to other things so have we, applying the same dedicated and focused approach to everything we do.

Something else we take seriously is our environmental responsibility; we’re always looking for ways to make our business more efficient or carbon neutral. Becoming a part of The Pallet Network in 2001 has enabled us to streamline our business and utilise the vehicles far more efficiently. Dave and Phil have also invested heavily in a fleet replacement program to ensure we run the latest eco-friendly vehicles.
